If one has been offered a place of study in the UK and is a citizen from outside the EEA and Switzerland, you may be able to work for up to 20 hours a week as an au pair. Residents of Turks and Caicos, who are British overseas territories citizens may apply for a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme visa to work as an au pair in the U.K., if the au pair;

• wants to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years
• is aged 18 to 30
• has £1,890 in savings
• meets the other eligibility requirements
